I’m an Associate Software Engineer at Zeusgen, building mobile apps, full-stack web platforms and custom business systems. With 2+ years in industry, I turn ideas into practical software that people can use every day.

I studied Software Engineering at Coventry University through NIBM. I enjoy solving real-world problems, sharing what I learn through teaching, and working with AI coding agents to bring ideas to life.

My story.

I’m Isurindu, an Associate Software Engineer at Zeusgen. I studied BSc (Hons) Software Engineering at Coventry University through NIBM. Here is how I got here.

  1. 2021 – Present

    ICT tutor

    Alongside my software engineering work, I provide individual and group ICT tuition. I teach the syllabus and help students build apps and websites through hands-on learning.

  2. Oct 2024

    My first industry role

    At WHYTEQ I worked as a full-stack intern on three projects: a learning platform for pharmacy and medical students, a betting platform and a healthcare app. I covered the whole lifecycle, from requirements to delivery.

  3. May 2025

    I took ownership at eSupport

    I owned two production Flutter apps, from architecture to the Play Store, and led the mobile team while still an intern. Yaka.lk went live on Google Play.

  4. Nov 2025

    I joined Zeusgen

    As an Associate Software Engineer I work across mobile, full-stack and AI, including an AI recruitment platform on a multi-model architecture that saves token usage.

  5. Dec 2025

    Mobile quality with Sysco LABS

    I took a two-month freelance project testing mobile apps: functional, usability and performance testing, and bug tracking with the developers.

  6. Freelance

    A resort trusted me

    I built and own the Emerald Bay Resorts website in Mirissa. That trust grew into QR ordering, business email, a POS with an AI chat, revenue management and an OTA channel manager.

  7. 2026

    Teaching, learning, shipping

    I started creating Flutter courses on Udemy and earned certifications including AWS Certified Developer and the JetBrains Kotlin certificate. I’ve shipped with AI coding agents for over a year, and I’m open to freelance work and new roles.

  1. Website

    Built full-stack and owned end to end as a freelancer. It is live at emeraldbayresorts.com.

  2. QR ordering

    Guests order from a menu in their rooms and in the restaurant area. Items are added to the bill, and they receive an e-bill as an image or document.

  3. Business email

    The team needed business email on their own domain. I set it up, and they use it every day.

  4. Billing and POS

    Owners and top management see AI-based charts of progress, fast-selling items and revenue for any dates they filter. A chat lets them ask: “What is the fast-moving sale today?”, “How much did today cost?” and “What is today’s profit from 10 am to 2 pm?” It reaches their mobile phones as a progressive web app.

  5. Revenue management
